Our client approached us with the idea they wanted to create an app where it generated an image of the users first name, with each letter having it’s own associated meaning. It was a bit complicated: you can’t just use static placement of letters because names vary in length – so we had to build an algorithm to place letters and meanings on the image properly.

- Canvas application core & structure
- Fan Page like gateway
- Advanced calculations to calculate letter/meaning placement and centering based on name length
- Image generation using GD, then publishing to users wall via Photos API
- Like dialog/content locker on main page
